It's been quite some time since I've felt any kind of "special" connection with any shows, such as the previously mentioned movies and tv shows such as Alias, Battlestar Galactica, ect. It's been roughly four years since any such intuitions manifested. Over the previous 2-3 weeks I've been watching "The 4400" which involves 4400 abductees who were taken from various times in the previous century into the future. They were sent back to the early 21st century with special abilities in an effort to guide humanity in a more positive direction to avoid eventual catastrophe.
I began watching it the first time when it first came out. I believe I got through the first couple of seasons of four total. However, I'm almost certain that I didn't finish the series. But the closer to the ending I get, the more familiar it seems I am with the series. This could be something as simple as a simple error in judgement and memory on my part. However, I'm just feeling a little strange throughout this ordeal. It seems like I may have dreamed some of the scenes in the series before I had watched them. Of course, my dreams are fairly vivid and often comprise of science fiction and action/adventure/spy intrigue sort of scenarios. I wish my imagination were nearly as good as my dream world.
At the moment I've decided to go through a period of sleep deprivation in an attempt to induce vivid and creative hypnogonic type thoughts. I am now near the 41st hour of sleeplessness. So far, I am actually feeling quite lucid and together. To note: I began having these feelings and intuitions long before I began the sleeplessness cycle. Once I am well rested I'll try not to wait so long to give a more detailed summary of my thoughts on this matter.

Just wanted to let you know that there's interest in hearing further thoughts about your connection with 4400 when you get a chance to do so. Was it possible you had dreamed it prior (considering you chose to discuss your dream world), or was it an occasion of synchronicity, or did you discover that it was something else altogether?
I finished the series not too long ago myself. My dreams became extremely vivid during that time. But, my dream world is typically colorful and fantastical anyway, and I did watch it in its entirely in a very short amount of time. I tend to do that when I feel a connection with a series. :)
Hope you're doing well. I look forward to your next post.
Hi L,
I finished the series not long after that post. At this point, I don't think I dreamed the scenes prior to watching them, or was it due to synchronicity. It wasn't any deja vu in the since that it felt as if I were "reliving" that moment when I had recognized the familiarity. I would say it seemed more of a fuzzy memory.
It seemed I had actually watched the series to it's conclusion despite being 99.9% sure I had not seen any of it past season 2.
Like vague memories of a past life. Or memories of a cloudy future. Like PKD's "anamnesis".
I will definitely go into more detail of how I felt and what I was thinking at the time it was happening. I can't guarantee how detailed I'll get though. Probably within a month.
I will be writing a post soon, although it's unrelated to the 4400. Well, not directly related anyhow.
It is an entertaining show, isn't it? I'm glad you liked it, as well.
I'd like to hear more about you as you feel comfortable with. Thanks for sharing.
I'm always interested in experiences concerning deja-vu, synchronicity, dreams.. I'm not sure what category it all falls in, but these interests seem to be related to an individual perception of memory or the creation/discovery of memory, maybe? This interest also leans towards the possibility or theory that everything has a predetermined timeline I suppose. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I have an extremely open mind and rarely think "inside the box". Sometimes, not even inside the room. One of many theories I have: As imperfect as the human is, it should be probable that if you can think it, it is possible. Then again, I may not be entirely stable by society's viewpoint, but it should be noted that if I could go crazy, I surely would. It is for this reason (or excuse?) that I'd have to say... Telling someone anything about myself is only restricted to what *they* are comfortable with, as that information typically isn't concerning to me (except when posting as comments on a public blog). ;)
I've seen you write about PKD before, but I have to admit that I don't know anything about him. I had never even heard of him prior to you. A quick Google search for "anamnesis" gave me references to Plato, but I assume the underlying meaning is the same. If so, I'm intrigued enough to research it, and will do so when I have the proper time to devote to it.
Thanks for replying. :)

The internet hates me today. Double-post not intended, of course.
I agree that many deja experiences are dependent on individual perception and could also be the result of created or "false" memories. Memory is such a fickle thing. Very malleable and plastic.
The novel I'm currently working on (at least when I feel well enough to) involves memories, memory manipulation, with some nanotechnology thrown in as well. I think you will like it if I finish it.
Speaking of thinking out of the box, sometimes I believe my brain is entirely separate from my body because I'm so out of the box. lol.
I'm pleased that you are open minded, as well. I'm not sure how much of this blog you've read but I'd like to link you to a site that I posted a consolidated version of my anomalous and "out there" experiences, many of them involving Philip Dick. But they are not exclusive to him, either.
A series of synchronous events (mostly in the same day) led me to him back in June 2002, and my life hasn't been the same since. I can't say it's for the better. Things have been difficult. But, I believe I'm on the correct path.
Which brings up deja vu as possible "remembering" in the case that we are "reliving" a portion of our life or that perhaps things are predetermined and some of us may have got a sneak peek at the template.
You're idea about probabilities reminds me of version of the Multi-Universe theory in the sense that all probable worlds should be possible.
The website House of Ubiquity http://houseofubiquity.wordpress.com/ is a website that was geared toward people who have had experiences involving PKD or similar to PKD's to share. Activity has been scarce there, but my account is up. It's listed as "Alienus Tempus" and has 5 parts. I should note that there are many others who believe that they had an experience involving PKD. However, my experience is unique in one sense, in that most of the others already knew or knew of PKD, whereas the synchronous events that led me to him occurred before I knew anything about him. I'm not hung up on PKD, however, he does/did play a significant role in my experiences. Once you read my consolidated story (still a little long, though) it will be more clear.
Here is the link to the first part.
It is a little easier to read the account at HOB as opposed to my blog. I hope you will read it as you get the time.

Feel free to email me for further thought if you'd like. You can always remain anonymous that way as well if you like. Don't worry about me thinking you're insane. lol. I've been there and back, and who knows... Maybe I'm still there. But, I'm pleased I'm with good company.
take care, L.

Thanks for the link - it was an interesting read. I will have to do further research into PKD to understand his purpose.
The things I've experienced are, on the whole, more subtle than yours. There is one exception to that, but I'll save it for a later time if we communicate more. I emailed you at the address provided by House of Ubiquity (I couldn't find any other), with some theories & a little information about my experiences as perceived by others (though not all). I tend to give more credit to others' perceptions of what happens in my world because if I'm the only one to perceive it, it leaves too much doubt for me to accept it.
I'm looking forward to talking with you. In the meantime, this sleepless night will be spent chasing PKD down a rabbit hole... I'm interested to see just where it will end up.
Hi, L. I did get your email and followed with a reply. Did you get it?
Be sure to drop bread crumbs or string a line to yourself and the entrance. I'd hate for you to get lost in that rabbit hole ;-)
